Spectacular staff and splendid environmentDr Michael Kloess has tremendous amount of experience treating children.I highly suggest this clinic for multi cultural multi ethnicity families.I commend their support and the community outreach. You guys are really amazing. Keep up the good work.
After 2 back to back miscarriages, I felt at a loss and almost hopeless. My OBGYN refused to do any lab testing to figure out why I was having miscarriages, until I had a 3rd consecutive miscarriage. Nothing about this was normal. My sister in law told me about this clinic in Illinois after experiencing similar loss. Come to find out, we had a clinic here in Wisconsin! After my first positive pregnancy test I went straight to Our Lady of Hope Clinic. My progesterone levels were tested and I was immediately given progesterone. When the test results came back, I was super low. Dr. Mike communicated with me frequently and was super supportive. I’m happy to say after continuing care with this clinic, I now have a happy and healthy soon to be 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. I thank God for this clinic and my children.
Very kind, generous, and helpful people at this clinic! They deserve a better google rating! Dr. Mike clearly cares about his patients. He has helped me and so many other women/babies in the area by closely monitoring hormone levels to ensure the unborn have the best chance possible to make it to term. The waiting room is also often filled with patients, and I can tell that the staff is working their hardest to help as many people as possible!
Dr. Lawson treated me terribly behind my back, completely unchristian and judgemental because I am married to a younger man. My husband caught her giving me bad looks behind my back. I found I had a serious problem that most likely is cancer according to my imaging results.I have been fighting to get a referral to the specialist from her. Its been a while and nothing was received by the specialist thus far. I no longer need free services and was going to make a hefty donation for their services, I have changed my mind thanks to Dr. Lizs treatment. No compassion whatsoever if you do not align with their Roman Catholic ideals. So sad.
You’d think that for a clinic with a religious name would be more patient and helpful. That was not the case when I made a call to get resources about free services that they can help with. First I asked if they could provide a dental referral to get a free dental cleaning somewhere else. The lady who answered the phone sounded very unpleasant with my request for help and as I was going to ask something else she hung up the phone on me. Very disappointed on this first experience. I guess I saved myself and my friend from coming here down the future for help.
They make you feel like family here. I appreciate that they do whole family care. Its very easy to get a same day or next day appointment.Dr Mike is great with NaPro natural family planning. Hes very knowledgeable about womens cycles and is able to treat the root cause of the problem, rather than just treating symptoms.Dr Liz is amazing with prenatal care and beyond. It was very reassuring to have someone trusted in the delivery room, rather than the doctor on call at the hospital.Charlotte and the staff are always so kind! Ive never been more pleased to see her when I need a blood draw because she is so quick with the needle!
Good but today Im here with my grun sun and arrived 6 o clock made registration and must return in the afternoon I dont know what happened we return in the afternoon and no have atendiment because he is a new pacient I didnt understand why did she say this thing in the morning.
WASTE OF TIME FOR NO SERVICES FOR UNINSUREDThey are very strict about the 9am or 1pm opening times- no check in after that. In fact, I was told to return over an hour early the next day. Next bombshell- the Doctor only sees 4-5 patients per shift- so good luck if youre the 6th or 7th! None of this information is transparently available in their website. So if you can afford it, go elsewhere. Or buy their primary care plan- thats seems to be the goal anyway. The person giving me this information was courteous- thats the only positive in this whole waste of time and money.
Just had a first appointment here and it was great all around. Fiona did a top notch blood draw which is sometimes hard on my veins (ive been poked 8 or more times in a single apt elsewhere!) And Dr. Mike was great. He gave me a lot of time and explained his thoughts and next steps for my care. This clinic had that small town feel where I didnt just feel like a name and a need. Ill be back for sure.
The woman in charge of scheduling walk-ins told me to stop talking when I tried to tell her my situation. Because she didnt get the information I was trying to tell her I lost 5 hours of paid work that I took off to wait in the waiting room only to be told the doctor was leaving early and I wouldnt be seen. She was rude and condescending and told me I shouldnt have waited so long to try to refill my medication. She said its free, however her oversight cost me $450 I would have made if i had worked instead of waiting in the waiting room all day.
PA lady told my husband you don’t need antibiotics for your ear infection, ha went ER and get it right away, if you religious that doesn’t mean you lie to the patients, if they don’t fit your shoes, plz don’t go if you in pain. Not helpful
Dr. Mike is nothing short of wonderful! He has helped us grow our family, when we began to think it would not be possible. He is always a phone call or email away, which is incredibly helpful and necessary for our family to sustain life in early pregnancy. God is doing amazing things through Dr. Mike and Our Lady of Hope Clinic and we are beyond blessed to know them!
You should never know a doctors personal opinion on matters. Just because you are religious doesn’t mean you need to jam your personal beliefs down patients throats. I was appalled and completely uncomfortable. I have had chest pain and all that “doctor” did was listen to my breathing. What a joke. Don’t bother with your pathetic response of “thanks for your feedback.”
What a horrible experience! I was told Id have to wait an hour but ended up being there more than three hours. Despite writing my preferred name in my paperwork, I was called repeatedly by my birth name. Dr. Kloess did not listen to my symptoms and seemed focused on my 10-year vegan lifestyle, even asking me where I get my protein from and then trying link my severe hay fever symptoms to vegetables. He also commented that he didnt know if there was an animal in my dreadlocks. He was so disrespectful and out of touch with other cultures and lifestyles. Very disappointing. After telling him that nothing was working for my hayfever, he simply recommended another over the counter medication. What a waste of time! This is how people without insurance are treated, as less than worthy of care in America.
The doctor told myself and my wife that he would still do the job he was paid to do but wanted us to know that he personally disagreed with who we were as people and thought we were a sin.We had no choice but to go here for chronic conditions but the doctor guarantied that we would feel uncomfortable and very unsafe at this clinic. If you are LGBTQ+, and you can afford to go somewhere else, do it. We don’t feel safe there.
When I spoke with one of the ladies who had answered the phone, I was told to be at the clinic before 1 because they hand out appointment times. The way she spoke made it sound like first come first serve basis.I arrived 40 mins early and was the second person at the clinic for the 1 pm clinic. There was one person that arrived before me and two who had arrived much later. Around 1pm, the gentleman who was a receptionist handed out slips of paper asking for basic information about us and why we were there, in order of our arrival. He made that clear that was what he was doing. He then collected them and took them to the doctor. A few mins later, the receptionist returned and gave the other three individuals appointment times and proceeded to tell me the doctor didnt have time to see me. When asked why, even though I had been the second person to the clinic, he gave me an answer that did not make sense to me and suggested I come back before 9am on the next morning that the clinic is open. I took off work to come to the clinic, arrive there early and wait, only to not be seen. Id like a better explanation of why this happened.
I understand the fact that doctors are in high demand due to increase patients here, however, to reject a patient at a free clinic because they dont feel that the patients initial assessment (if you could even call it that) is justification to provide that patient with no care is unbelievable. I would understand if the patients assessments were taken into account and then EVERYONE was given an appointment in order to severity and urgency. But to turn that patient away with no care and not have a member of staff do a proper assessment is unprofessional and degrades the integrity of the healthcare profession.
They were able to see me same day that I found out I was pregnant so I could get a progestrone shot and hopefully maintain this pregnancy. Everyone at this clinic is so nice!
My expierence was and is really good. They discovered that l got Diabetes, something that the dr. from the insurance did not tell me. I feel very grateful to God, that there are still Doctors with heart and not a wallet instead . They saved my health. They are good people, and love people.
I had an tripping accident where I broke my toe, and unfortunately we just lost our insurance. I was relieved to discover this clinic. I dont understand the negative reviews as this is an amazing blessing to someone in my shoes. Dr. Michael is friendly and I felt he was professional.
The fact that Dr. Kloess is the only NaPRO Technology provider in all of Southern Wisconsin is amazing. If you are a women who might be struggling with infertility or irregular cycles, you should be making an appointment. Time well spent and very affordable!
After Office was opened, every person filled a slip of paper, as to why they were there. Then the receptionists took all the papers and brought them to the back. When she csme back out, she gave everyone an appointment time, except me. I was told; We actually dont have room for you this morning, but you can come back at noon, for when we open at 1:00. On my way to the car, i called, and said; I was not the last person in line, I dont understand. When I come back this afternoon, do I have to be first in line? And she said, well there is never a guarantee that you will get an appontment UGH, seriously, whats the point, if you are going to be continually turned away? I would not recommend this place at all!
This doctor---and all his staff---are amazing. They are the reason our little girl is alive. They are kind, generous, gentle and very knowledgable. They are also very Catholic-Chriistian! Such a gift to Madison!
This place should have a disclaimer on their website that if you arent here before 9 am to clock in for an appointment that you wont be seen for medical care until later in the day or the next day. Im sorely disappointed in how this place is ran. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
I give then kudos for all they do for the community BUT when they refer you to a specialist they should tell you that you will be responsible for paying for some of the cost of the procedure. Getting a notice in the mail that you owe 348$ is just wrong.
Simply put, my youngest two children would not have survived to birth without Dr. Mike. Hes the best.
Dr. Mike is an excellent, caring physician. The community is lucky to have the clinic and Dr. Mike. Highly recommend.
Highly recommended because Dr Mike is a God sent to me and my family. Give him a try. Peace!
Terrible place. It’s more like Our Lady of Hell
Place where hope and tradition still live with faith, excellent care and service for those that need and have nowhere else to turn.
Great care!
They have never attended to us... we always waste time and everything😔😞 although the person who assists at the reception is very kind and dear.
Dr. Mike and the nurses who help him interpret the patients are very professional and very compassionate. Thank you very much for being so sensitive. The medicine he prescribed for me was very effective. I thank God that I came to that clinic.
They have treated me very well.
