Terrible office upon trying to get scheduled for my prenatal care the lady I spoke to on the phone was rude, disrespectful and hung up on me because I told her it was unreasonable for me to have to go to 2 diff offices in one day for care in which she said actually its not unreasonable I then said well for me it is she hung up. I call back second person I spoke to apologized she said theyd see what they can do to get me scheduled for care and call me back took 5 days in which they say they cant accommodate and to go to another facility honestly Id be more than happy to do so the seem lazy, careless and the fact they employ people that think its okay to hang up on potential patients says alot but I guess I shouldve looked at all these Terrible reviews they have the fact they have on 60 some and more are bad then good joke of a facility dont go there!!! Oh Im sure theyll respond in some smart ass way defending their practice but please do itll only prove negative reviews true

I’m a new patient at this office, had my first visit this week. I couldn’t even imagine that first visit can be so comfortable and nice. I’m so glad that I found Dr. Burkhart, He’s so kind and professional. That was very pleasant experience. Everyone is so nice and friendly. That’s so amazing.

I just moved to New York and needed to establish care asap. The office staff was so welcoming and I got an appointment within a reasonable time frame. Dr. Burkhart was so kind and attentive and really put me at ease. I usually try to steer away from a male GYN (i know, i know), but I would recommend him to any woman who feels the same way as me. A truly great experience!

I have no idea what I would do if this office and the people working in it didnt exist. It has been over 2 years since Ive joined this practice, I have met every doctor there, they are all AMAZING. I have never felt nervous, uncomfortable, rushed, felt I need to question any advice given, never felt pushed into anything I didnt want to do or didnt like the idea of, have been treated with the upmost compassion and best support possible through my pregnancy, post partum and after AND even the receptionists are SO nice! Golden star standard. I love coming here.

Dr Wilsch makes you feel at ease. Explains everything and takes her time with you. I’ve had some issues and she had offered options that have worked amazingly! Not sure what I would have done without her. If you’re looking for a doctor with knowledge, listens to your needs and has a great bedside manner she’s the one for you. Also the admin staff have been super. Rare to get both a wonderful staff and doctor.

Ive been seeing Dr Burkhart here for almost 25 years. Hes always made me feel comfortable and at ease at every appointment. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend this office for all gynecological and obstetric needs.

I have been a patient at Genesee Valley OBGYN for over 15 years. I feel that I have gotten the best care available and the staff are all wonderful… professional, patient and kind. If you are on medicare you may personally be billed for care that is not related to OBGYN. Make sure to ask about this when making your appointment.

Went here for my two pregnancies. Absolutely amazing staff and everyone is so friendly and nice. They are very thorough to. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Oona Lim is an excellent doctor. She listens to all your concerns. Very compassionate and caring. I highly recommend her.

I am a newer patient with only one visit last year - but I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Lim, and highly recommend her. She is thorough, friendly, and addresses any concerns. She spent a significant amount of time with me for my initial new patient visit and wanted to know any concerns head to toe, regardless of whether they were obgyn related.

I started coming here about 4 years ago. I like and trust every doctor on the team! Gave birth to my son in 2021 and now expecting baby number two! Very happy with this practice!

This is a wonderful office with great drs who have good bedside manner. The nurse was amazing! The ultrasound techs make you feel very comfortable. Definitely found the best Ob office, I feel like I can grow here.

Dr. Carey is the most incredible doctor I’ve ever had. She is patient and kind and really cares about her patients. Cannot recommend enough!!

The staff is great every visit. Dr. Burkhart has been my GYN for at least 44 years. I could not ask for a better Doctor. He truly cares for the well being of his patients.

Dr. Tad (Ruckert) is exceptionally kind, caring, and professional. He takes the time to really listen; which is rare these days. You are his only focus when he is with you as well. The nurses and office staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this Dr. Tad and the practice.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Lim last week and absolutely loved her! It was a new patient appointment and she sat with me for the first 30 minutes and just talked and got to know me and my family history. She was so friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer all my questions. While doing my exam, she explained each step as she was doing it. I would highly recommend her!

I was absolutely blown away by Dr. Carey. I moved to Rochester in 2016 and have struggled with finding a new OBGYN for many years. Dr. Carey was knowledgeable, caring and thorough. You can tell she really cares about her patients and the quality of care she provides. So happy my friend referred me to this office!

Very excellent office. I make a 45 minute drive even after they closed their local-to-me branch office, and its worth it. Both Dr Ruckerts are excellent, caring, competent doctors, the staff there including the nurses, front desk folks. and the ultrasound specialist, are all GREAT. The atmosphere in the office including the waiting room is so relaxing and calming. Its really set up perfectly all around. And I feel confident I am well-cared-for here. Highly recommend.

Dr. Pattoglia and the staff here are AMAZING. Thorough, gentle, kind, respectful, compassionate, professional, and timely. This is the best experience Ive ever had with health care in my life.

After going from one place to another with no real answer to what was going on with me for several years, I decided to try Genesee Valley OBGYN and I am so glad I did! They took the time to listen to me, run the tests they needed to and were finally able to tell me what was wrong with me. I have now been a patient with this practice for several years and always receive wonderful care. The staff is AMAZING and go above and beyond to make sure your not only well cared for but that you understand everything that is going on. They also will call and follow up just to see how you are doing and see if you have any other questions. Truly a wonderful group and 100% worth the drive to Penfield instead of their old office in Clifton Springs.

I have gone to this practice since I was a teenager...now 2 children later it has always been a good experience. They always took the time to answer my questions. I had a few medical issues they were able to help me work through. I have worked with most of the doctors in the practice. My mom referred me to the practice has she has gone quite a long time. She had medical issues they worked with her to resolve and assist with having children. My husband and I ended up being delivered by the same doctor in their practice. I have nothing but high regards for their practice and their dedicated work with their patients!

They are caring and open to individual preferences/ needs. The two male doctors, a father and son were my favorites. Very knowledgeable, up on new treatment, willing to research, and careful. The whole practice is family like, the nurses are wonderful, very personable and get to know you.

I’ve been going to this OB/GYN for a little over 10 years. Dr. Wilsch and Dr. Battoglia are absolutely amazing 🤩 Very knowledgeable and compassionate!

Very impressed with the practice and Dr. Burkhart. I had the time wrong and showed up late and they were kind to me and saw me anyway. Looking forward to switching over to them.

The below review from kristen is agreeable, stay far away from this office i have a personal awful story involving this practice that i need not mention. Care about yourselves as a mother and even more importantly care enough about your unborn baby and find a better office and team of doctors than this one. Their ratings are low for a reason ladies listen to these ratings. Your baby will thank you.

In addition to delivering both of my children, they saved my life, by catching my cancer! Kelly Battoglia is awesome. She listens and find solutions and is easy to talk to.

Visited the office today. Receptionist & nurse were kind and helpful. Saw Dr. Ruckert (the father) and discussed removing my IUD & possibly getting my tubes tied. He immediately shot down the idea. When I asked why, he came up with every excuse under the sun as to why I shouldn’t take that route. None of which were of risk or concern to me. He could sense that I was on the fence with his reasoning then proceeded to tell me if I really wanted to, to talk to his son the surgeon. After hearing him out I told him I would think it through, but in all honesty I have no desire to have such a procedure done with such close-minded people. I’ll be looking elsewhere. We then proceeded to the exam part of my visit and after kidding about me not having put on the “COVID 10” he then said he has a general rule where the patient shouldn’t weigh more than the OB & that he weighs 187. He was implying I’m bigger than him and need to lose weight. I laughed it off as to not make the visit any more uncomfortable for myself than it was, but I didn’t appreciate it especially when I had much more pressing issues that needed addressing and were never mentioned. I had put on my paperwork that since my last visit I had some mental health issues & those were never brought up once. He left after the exam and I was left sitting there not even sure if he was going to come back or not. As far as I’m concerned, I won’t be returning to this office.

They kept messing up what I was coming in for, I was being understanding. This happened for years, then I lost my insurance and they told me it was fine to just call back when I get some. I kept in contact with them letting them know how close I was and they kept telling me it was ok. I finally get insurance and call back to find out they put in in my chart to no longer accept me as a patient. I have been black balled from their practice.

Kelly Battoglia! She is the best! Very down to earth, caring and ensures follow up. I have been seeing her for years & will drive 45 minutes just for her.

After my current Gyn abruptly retired, was recommended to Genesee Valley OB/Gyn. My visit was with Dr. Oona Lim. She was so warm and welcoming, thorough and explained everything in detail. Took time to answer all my questions. Office staff pleasant and responsive. Glad to have found GV OB/Gyn!

I loved Dr. Lim. She is very thorough, attentive, and caring. Unlike some physicians, she cares about the root cause rather than simply symptom treatment.

Dr. Ruckert is the absolute best!! I guess I should say both Dr. Ruckert’s. They are very thorough and very kind!! Highly recommended!

My wife lives an hour away from this office but is willing to make that drive for the care, service and honestly, the love for her doctor. Highly recommended by her and she plans on being a patient here for a long time to come.

I went here for many years, far too long. I have had innumerable bad experiences with the front desk, the women are arrogant, bad-tempered and condescending. The practice fights with my insurance companies (more than one different one over my time here), my pharmacy, and myself over petty things. There has also been a revolving door of doctors which seems to have gotten worse as time goes on so the last few years its been someone new every time I go. At one point I asked to have my IUD removed as it was irritating me and the doctor refused! On the grounds that it was one of the best methods of birth control out there, I dont care what it is, it wasnt working for me and I had to go to another doctor to have a say in my own healthcare. I should have switched years ago but since its only once a year, I put it off for too long.The final straw was repeatedly fighting the receptionists on the phone to have my birth control pills refilled, they kept saying I *need* to come in for an annual, when even the doctor at their OWN PRACTICE stated that over the age of 30 women need not- and should not- have an annual exam. After research I found her view was consistent with the consensus of the medical community (American College of Physicians recommends that healthy, low-risk women not have routine annual pelvic exams), while the receptionists - WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE A SAY IN MY HEALTHCARE OR MY RIGHT TO BIRTH CONTROL- are stuck in the 1950s, where women need to get seen once a year every year, for reasons science doesnt bother to explain.DO NOT waste your time or your money going to these people. It is a terrible business, out to get your money. They do not care about your health, they do not care about your well-being, they do not care about current standards of heath care. They just want to drum up money and will hold your prescriptions over your head to get it. A disgusting example of everything that is wrong with the healthcare community right now.

The ladies at the front desk are amazing, personable and attend to any details that need to be addressed. Dr. Carey was kind and very thorough.

If you have endometriosis do not go to this doctor. They are NOT endometriosis specialists they will refer you to one at the University of Rochester after trying to push you to take lupron which is poison!! The secretarial staff has no idea what they are doing and I had to do most of their work for them. Don’t waste your time.

I have been with this practice for 35 years and only had 3 doctors total. Love them!
